The story follows our main character ‘Aladdin’ a street thief who has a promise to keep regarding leaving theft and living a peaceful life with his dead mother. Eventually, Jasmine, the runaway princess comes into his life and they fall in love. But fulfilling their dreams might not be that easy as long as villains like Jafar who see nothing beyond money and power live. The story takes on a new twist when Aladdin blinded by Jafar runs into a genie in a cave. Using his three wishes from the lamp’s Genie he becomes a prince to ask Jasmine’s hand in marriage.

Aladdin played by ‘Clinton Greenspan’ and Jasmine by ‘Lissa deGuzman’ fight for their dreams to become one. However, what keeps you interested in the musical until the end is ‘Michael James Scott’ as Genie. He has done a flawless job in depicting the true jubilant and always pleasing nature of his character and his voice has done more good to Genie than anyone could have. You keep waiting for Genie to take the stage that’s how amazing he is. Even the flying carpet do nothing in comparison.

All in all direction of Thomas Schumacher has made the show a massive hit for children and for the adults too if you are still living in those Disney days in your childhood.
