The Allahabad High Court or Allahabad High Court is a supreme court based in Allahabad (Praiyaraj) with jurisdiction over the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It was established on March 17, 1866, making it the fourth highest court established in India.
Allahabad became the seat of government for the Northwest Territories and a Supreme Court was established in 1834, but it moved to Agra within a year. [1] In 1868 he returned to Allahabad. The former Supreme Court was located in the Office of the Public Accountant at the Allahabad University Complex.
It was established as a Supreme Court of Justice in the Northwest Territories in Agra on March 17, 1866 under the Indian Supreme Courts Act of 1861 replacing Sadr al-Diwani, the former Adalat. Sir Walter Morgan, attorney and Mr. Simpson, has been appointed first chief judge of the Supreme Court and first secretary, respectively, of the Supreme Court of the Northwest Territories.
The location of the Supreme Court of the Northwest Territories was transferred from Agra to Allahabad in 1869 and the name was changed in return to the Supreme Court of the Judiciary in Allahabad from March 11, 1919.
On November 2, 1925, the Oud Judicial Court was replaced by the High Oud Court in Lucknow with the Civil Oud Courts Act 1925, promulgated by the United Regional Regional Legislature with the prior approval of the Governor-General to pass this law.
On February 25, 1948, the Supreme Oud Court merged with the Allahabad High Court.
When the state of Uttarakhand, now known as Uttarakhand, was excavated in Uttar Pradesh in 2000, this Supreme Court no longer had jurisdiction over the fallen areas of Uttarakhand. The Supreme Court of Allahabad was built by Khan Sahib Nizamuddin from Loha Mundi, Agra, India. He also donated the water source to the Supreme Court.

The headquarters of the Supreme Court of the Northwest Territories was transferred from Agra to Allahabad in 1869 and its name was changed to “The Supreme Court of Allahabad”, i.e. the Allahabad High Court by supplementary innocence on letters issued on March 11. 1919. The headquarters of the Supreme Court for the Northwest Territories were moved from Agra to Allahabad. The Supreme Court of Oud was established in Lucknow, replacing the Court of the Judicial Commissioner of Oud, on November 2, 1925, not by patenting letters, but by the Civil Courts Law for Oud, IV of 1925, issued by the Legislature with the prior approval of the Governor-General when this law was passed. , As required by the Indian Government Act 1919.
